Sometimes don’t you think that happiness is overrated? People think of happiness as a destination, but that’s not the case right? In your journey of life, happiness is not a destination, it’s just a part of it. And sometimes people just get lost searching for it. We’re always thinking that someday we’ll be happy; we’ll get that car or that job or that person in our lives that’ll fix everything. But isn’t happiness just a mood? Isn’t it a condition? It’s like being tired or hungry, it’s not permanent. It comes and goes, and that’s okay. If people think of it this way, don’t you think they’ll find happiness more often?
Happiness is a journey, and you have to learn to live with and without it. You need to recognize that every day won’t be sunny, but you should also remember that it’s only in the black night that you see the stars, and those stars can lead you back home. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, to stumble and fall, because most of the time, the greatest rewards come from doing the things that scare you the most. Maybe you’ll get everything you wish for. Maybe you’ll get more than you ever could have imagined. Who knows where life will take you. The road is long and in the end no matter what, you will reach your destination.
